Post-surgery PAIN

Cris - ctmj11@prodigy.net

Hello from Texas. This site has definitely been beneficial to me, and helped me to make my decision to go ahead and have my coccyx removed after a skating accident last year.

It's only been 2 weeks since my surgery, and not only did my doc keep me in the hospital an extra day, but re-admitted me the following week for 2 1/2 more days. This is due to the intense, major pain I am having. Can anyone tell me WHEN it will end? I pray I made the right decision to have the surgery, but now it hurts so much more than it did prior to the operation. I feel like my body is not my own anymore! I hurt so bad on the inside, where he did the surgery, like someone is constantly tapping the bottom of my spine with a hammer. I'm having trouble sleeping too.

Anyway, if anyone out there can give me a few tips or advice I'd be grateful. I AM taking it easy, but am trying to do a little bit of walking to get the blood flowing down there. Should I request an MRI or just wait this misery out? Please feel free to email me if you have time. THANK YOU!!

Cris
