Pain in the legs as well as the tailbone

Stacey - SDPaul@stmarys.org

Wow, I never imagined I would see so much information on the internet about tailbone injuries.

I recently slipped off some stairs at a restaurant in June 2004. The pain was so bad that I would begin to black out when I starting walking. I also had a burning sensation between my legs. I ended up at the hospital and received a pain shot, which helped.

Today - I still have pain, but minimal. I can walk around almost pain free, but sitting is another story.

What I worry about is the pain in my legs - both legs, but mostly my right leg. When I walk up steps, I feel like my legs are heavier than normal. Does anyone have this same problem? What was your diagnosis?
