I have lived with constant pain for 30 years

When I was 14 a friend and I were goofing around as kids do at a playground area. Long story short, I fell approx. 12 feet on to a concrete base at an angle where my tailbone took the brunt of the fall.

Life has never been the same since. I can not sit on anything hard at all, this includes floors, chairs, bleachers, etc. Any heavy lifting or back strain puts me in bed. The pain is always there, everyday of my life since I was 14. (My parents did not take me to a doctor, this was pre MRI days).

I am now 44 years old and have lived with this constant pain for 30 years. I have always assumed there was nothing I could do for it. I would love any ideas or suggestions. I am just really miserable with it all. Thank you.
