Table collapsed while having waxing done

I had a fall while having waxing done. The table collapsed with me still on it. The middle folded so all the weight landed on my coccyx. The pain was excruciating to say the least.

Since then I've had 4 cortisone injections. The last one was only 5 days ago. It was a guided injection where they also injected dye. I'm still in pain it hasn't settled down at all.

My surgeon is suggesting surgery. I'm not sure. All I know is that here in Australia they don't perform coccyx removal all that often. My surgeon is supposedly the best and up until 1 month ago, where he did 3 in 2 weeks, before that it was 7 years ago.

I'm hoping someone will give me some ideas on whether to have the op or not. I know I can't live like this. I can't sit for more that 20 min I can't stand for more than 20 min, I'm 35 with 4 boys. They deserve better.
