I have been reading a bunch of stories on coccyx pain and surgery results. I injured my tailbone 6 months ago and have constant pain with the things of everyday life. My chiropractor finally talked me into seeing my family doctor due to her concerns. My doctor ordered an MRI, and by the next morning she called stating I have a severe deformity in my coccyx due to my injury.
I am now going to see a Spine surgeon on Friday. I am very concerned about what they are going to tell me. I am getting married in 5 months and have 5 children to take care of so I am worried if they recommend surgery.
Has anyone out there been diagnosed with severe coccyx deformity, and if so, what treatments were helpful?
