Hi,

My name is Dawn and I have been experiencing coccyx pain since the birth of my 5th child in January 2005. I take 800 mg of Ibuprofen 2-3 times a day to relieve the pain of plantar fascitis/heel spur, and I think that is the only thing that keeps my coccyx pain tolerable. A couple of months ago I stopped taking it for a couple of weeks and between my foot pain and my tailbone I could barely move!

Anyway, not surprisingly, there are no doctors listed for Oklahoma (I think we're the last to get everything!), so I am wondering if anyone can recommend someone here?

Today is the first time I have actually done any research on this, and your site has been SO informative. I've never mentioned this pain to my Dr, because frankly I am overweight and figured it had something to do with that. But my family has repeatedly urged me to check it out, and I'm glad I finally have. After years of pain and visits with Dr and physical therapist about my foot, I have finally given up on ever getting it cured, but hopefully I will have better results getting my backside healed up!
