Pregnancy and coccyx

Hi I was wondering if anyone has any tips. I am in early stages of pregnancy but have suffered from coccyxdynia since 2004. In January 2005 I had my coccyx removed but it hasn't resolved the situation and until recently I had pain management injections. I should probably also mention that I've had a spinal fusion (L5/S1). My consultant in the past has said he can see space for an epidural which is great. I'm just worried that a natural delivery will not only be excruciating with my previous surgery and existing pain but that it might actually make matters worse.

I'm seeing my midwife in the next few weeks but would love some advice. Do I say I want a c-section and be done with it?

Thanks

Natalie
