When I first started to feel this pain, I thought it was very weird and perhaps I am the only one suffering in the world. But I also thought that it will go away by itself. I had a baby in June of 2009. Everything was great until January of 2010. I really don't think having a baby lead to this pain. Or did it? I did vigorous exercise after 8 weeks of delivery. I had a c-section. But then I left it because it was bothering my knees but it never bothered my coccyx.

It might have occurred because of spending excessive time on the floor mat. I thought once I stop doing it, it will be cured. At that point I was taking it for granted. I was continuing to spend time on floor and damaging my coccyx further. I stopped sitting on the floor and still the pain did not go away. In fact, it got worse over the time period of 20 days and was constant for next few months until about April second week. I had several doctor visits. I also got physical therapy done for 2 months. My x-ray was normal. I was sitting in various positions trying to not sit on my coccyx. Nothing helped. My doctor then scheduled me for an MRI. I still have it on my calendar for May 01, 2010.

And then, my sister who is a homeopath advised me to take three doses of Hypericum 1 M. I took only 2 doses and found at least 60% relief. Hypericum has been specially designed for nerve pain. You should take 3 doses in the same day at the interval of 1 hour (for e.g. 7AM, 8AM and 9AM). However, I just took 2 doses in two doses. For some reason, I was not aware of the proper way to take it. I also had a severe discomfort and pain in my left hand when I took Hypericum. After taking the medicine my hand pain was gone 100%. WAO! It was a magic. I never believed in homeopathy but now I sure do more than ever. I think everyone should try this before going through those cumbersome procedures. I think I'll repeat Hypericum 1M after a week or so. Hopefully this time it will be gone... :)

If your pain is not related to nerves and is a result of some injury, you should try Arnica 10M. I hope this helps others. I hope this helps others. I definitely know how miserable your life can be with coccyx pain!

Note from Jon Miles:

Arnica 10M is a homeopathic medicine. The '10M' means that it has been diluted by a factor of 1000, ten times in succession, so that the original Arnica has been diluted by a factor of 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 and there is none of the Arnica left in the medicine given. See Homeopathy for more information.
