Making good progress with treatment at the Sayer Clinic

I've suffered from coccyx pain since 2015. I'm not entirely sure why it started but I remember I did have a small slip down the stairs around the same time. This coupled with sitting in a plastic chair for long night time hours at work were probably the reason. I remember that when my pain started I was off work for around 6 months before I saw a doctor at my local hospital and had a steroid injection. Over the next few years I had 3 injections including steroids mixed with anaesthetic and one manipulation.
Eventually I was referred to the pain clinic. A year prior to covid the clinic had lost my details. I was still suffering quite badly and hadn't lasted very long from my previous injection. When covid hit in 2020 I was struggling with issues of pain in my legs and thigh, making it difficult to walk. I hadn't seen a doctor in over a year and had to stop working all together.
I started seeing Sayer Clinic (see Doctors and specialists in the UK, London) in around November 2020 and have been having regular appointments with Dr. Chris Berlingieri, Karolina Krzaczek and more recently Dr. Durtnall.
I would say that I have definitely improved in terms of my pain and mobility. Thanks to Karolina, I no longer have pain in my thighs and legs and can walk freely. She helped with my pelvic floor, assisting in exercise.
I was seeing Dr. Chris, as I call him, for several months, and he helped to mobilize my coccyx and worked on the muscles around my floor and back. Dr. Durtnall has been helping with moving my coccyx and unlocking my back muscles.
I really feel like I've made good progress since seeing them. I can sit down in cars and on the train with a lot less pain than I used to. At home I use a cushion to help shift my weight away from my coccyx, so I mostly only feel discomfort here. When my pain started it was like a sharp stabbing pain, that was constant and I had to take naproxen daily to help.
Now I feel I can manage my pain without the need for medication most days. I still get some pain, but it's no longer all the time. I really feel like the clinic has helped me go from 0% to 70%. I can feel the progress my back has made, and the clinic is great at explaining things each step of the way.
Overall I would rank my experience with Sayer as absolutely excellent.
Update, 2022-10-02
I am very happy to say that one year on from treatment and I am still going strong. I finished treatments with Dr Durtnall a while back now (last year), and had excellent results. My posture has improved, and I am 95% pain free.
Overall I received great care from Sayer, and hope that I can stay this way for years to come!
