First of all I wish to thank Dr. Mubashira (see Doctors and specialists in India) for extending her support during my treatment of coccyx ailment.

It was a month of October, 2022, I suffered with the severe pain which was not even allowing me to sit for 5 minutes. I immediately consulted with Orthopedic surgeon and he told me that I am suffering from 'Tail bone' or coccyx pain. He suggested some medicines including pain killer and laxative. Some pain was subsided after 7 days course of medicines, but it was not sufficient to experience normal routine. We also scanned X-Ray for understanding the situation but Surgeon said tail bone is straightened which may be by birth in my case and he told me that no muscle loss, so not required any physiotherapy. He suggested to use home made pillow for six months and pain will subside over a period of time. If not, we will see what to be done after six month.

I tried ayurvedic treatment called 'panchkarma' for 10 days which partially reduced pain but I was not able to sit for more than 10 minutes. Meanwhile, we came across the expertise of Dr. Rajveer Singh and Dr. Syeda Mubashira in google search. I have gone through the treatment process used while treating tailbone pain. By reading this, I have decided to connect with Dr. Mubashira. First we did online consultation. In the first online consultation only, she told me that my tailbone is not only straightened to back side but also shifted laterally to right side, that is why my left but was always in tremendous pain. She told me the course of treatment which was three months. First month treatment was for 6 days, second month 3 days and third month was 1/2 days depending on the situation. She immediately responded mentioning that it is coccyx ailment and it is completely curable.

We initiated treatment toward Dr. Mubashira during 24-30 Dec. 2022 for tail bone internal manipulation and physiotherapy. She also suggested medicines and Vitamin D and Vitamin B12. We could find the relief in the pain drastically. She had suggested me to do typical exercises to strengthen muscles of back and buttocks. I performed exercises religiously every month and visited her to understand the progress. During every visit, she scanned X-Ray and explained us about the positive movement of tail bone. In our last visit during June 2023, she concluded that now the recovery is complete as tailbone angulation is normally placed after her treatment. We personally visited her at Bangalore for four times. I can now sit for 2 hours continuously without any break, also can sit on hard surface. I have not tried bike yet. It is now a mind game and I have to come over of it.

During the course of treatment, Dr. Mubashira was very much cordial to support us on every aspect be it emotional or educating me for precautions and importance of exercises.

I personally extend my thankful wishes to Dr. Syeda Mubashira and shall really suggest the patients to get her guidance for better lifestyle management. She is like an angel God has sent for the patient suffering from tailbone pain.

Request to the people who are suffering with tail bone issue, please get in touch with her as early as possible, it is curable.

Note from Jon Miles:

I emailed more than a year after this story was posted, to ask for an update, as the long-term outcome of treatment is of great interest. In this case I did not get a reply.
