I am a 25 year old female who injured her coccyx 2 years ago by jumping into a lake. The impact of the water on my tailbone tipped it inwards and damaged ligaments and muscles.
I have tried the following:
Manual Internal Chiropractic Adjustment- improved symptoms and relieved pressure
Internal pelvic floor physio - helped with pain
Homeopathy tissue salts - consulted a naturopath. The homeopathy really worked for me bringing my pain down to about a 3/10. Most effective treatment thus far
Homeopathy treatment as follows:
Ruta 200ch 1 tablet /day
Calc fluor 5 tablets / day
Both dissolved under tongue
Recommend to see a homeopath/naturopath who is knowledgeable of different doses per the individual
The following Doctors I saw: Dr Ashley Hansen DC in Winnipeg, MB Canada for coccyx adjustment, Dr Jill Kazuk ND online Winnipeg, MB is in Victoria BC Canada (saw for homeopathy), Dr Sean Caesar ND Winnipeg MB - consulted for different injections including plasma injections, and dextrose injections but never got the treatment. Nova Physiotherapy in Winnipeg MB for internal pelvic floor therapy.
Update, 2025-06-09
It has been almost three years since injury and I have done a full recovery! Recovery took approximately 2.25 years. I am able to sit for long periods with no pain and continue to move as normal
