Diagnosis: Osteomyelitis of coccyx following pilonidal surgery in May 2024 with excruciating pain in coccyx region; chronic non-healing wound following pilonidal surgery

Outcome: No postsurgical complications emerged. Pain resolution ensued. Wound healed completely.
Laura received a MRI report in Feb 2026 finally documenting the absence of osteomyelitis and healing of a chronic wound tunnel.
